Privacy with assessment integrity.
Lireons uses limited learner data to operate academies, protect certificates, and help instructors review secure assessments fairly.
Draft policy. This page describes Secure Assessment Mode telemetry and may change before it takes effect.
What we collect
During secure assessments, Lireons may collect browser integrity telemetry that helps instructors identify unusual exam-session behavior.
- Assessment session, tenant, course, and learner identifiers.
- Assessment start, completion, and integrity event timestamps.
- Counts of tab or window visibility changes during secure assessments.
- Counts of copy, cut, and paste attempts during secure assessments.
- Warning acknowledgement events shown before or during an assessment.
What we do not collect
Secure Assessment Mode records clipboard action attempts, such as copy or paste events, but it does not collect clipboard contents.
How telemetry is used
- We do not collect clipboard contents for secure assessment telemetry.
- Telemetry is used as an integrity signal, not as an automatic failure decision.
- A single tab switch or operating-system interruption should be reviewed in context.
- Records should be retained only for academic review, compliance, and disputes.
Certificate verification
When a learner earns a certificate, Lireons may generate a SHA-256 verification hash from certificate metadata and a server-side secret. Public verification pages may show limited certificate details, including learner name, course name, issuing organization, issue date, and certificate status.
Consent and retention
Learners should receive a clear consent notice before starting a secure assessment. If a learner does not consent, the academy may provide an alternate path. Telemetry should be retained only for academic integrity review, compliance, and dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymized according to the academy's retention policy.
